About Me & the Eurasian Geopolitics Reader
Welcome to the Eurasian Geopolitics Reader (EGR) — a publication I launched in March 2024, originally as a LinkedIn newsletter, to provide not just information but analytical insight into the pulse of power in Eurasia.
I’m a political scientist with over seven years of academic research experience in Germany, five years in international NGOs, and more than twelve years as a research and risk consultant. My work blends comparative politics and international relations, with a deep focus on authoritarian cooperation, regional organisations, and state strategies in post-Soviet Eurasia.
EGR is an extension of this work, offering a curated, critical, and policy-aware perspective on regional transformations from Central Asia and the South Caucasus to Russia and Turkey.
What You’ll Find Here
I write for those who need to understand not just what’s happening in the region, but why, and what it means for governments, international organisations, NGOs, think tanks, and businesses engaging with Eurasia. This is a space for researchers, policymakers, journalists, investors, and consultants — anyone seeking actionable analysis that goes beyond the headlines, grounded in long-term trends and attuned to the logic of power beneath the surface.
For collaborations, consulting, or speaking engagements, feel free to reach out via Substack or connect with me on LinkedIn.
